The Eden Aquatic Club was established in 1994 by the Eden Aquatic & Sports Foundation, a Charitable Trust founded by the well--known philanthropist Mr. Eugene Rent and his wife Benita Rent, with the intent of providing the people of Mangalore and their families a unique experience in leisure and recreation, while simultaneously catering to cultural enhancement and social interaction.

Spread across a sprawling 4 acre picturesque landscape, The Eden Aquatic Club is surrounded with hillocks on one side and encompassed with a sylvan atmosphere of tall trees on the other. The entire ground of the Club area is covered by well manicured lawns and meandering pathways interspersed with cascading waterfalls and illuminated fountains, making it a perfect gateway to escape from the busy world in tandem with the entire family.

The Club is governed by “The Managing Committee” which presides over the day to day functioning of the Club and consists of five members from the Board of Trustees and five members elected amongst the life members of the Club.

To ensure that all club activities are evenly promoted and represented by the members, the following sub committees have been formed to assist the Managing Committee:
